Each week, our sports editorial department will nominate 3 males and 3 females from local High Schools to be our Athletes of the Week contestants.
Voting will take place from Sunday through Wednesday each week and the winners will be announced online on Wednesday.
Each week, you can vote for one male and one female.
On Sunday in the sports section of the Record-Journal, the previous week's winners will be featured as well as the following week's nominees.
Each week, one male and one female will receive the title of Athlete of the Week and they will win a $25 gift card!
